SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield police are still looking for suspects in a Monday night convenience store robbery, where a rifle was used.
Officer Charles Youmans told 22News that two men, dressed all in black with the hoods on their sweatshirts up to partially hide their faces, held-up the Downtown Convenience store on Worthington Street just after 9:30 P.M.
Youmans says that one of the men was carrying an older-style rifle.
The two grabbed about $300 from the cash register and some cigarettes before running away.
Youmans said that no shots were fired, but on the way out, the suspects dropped a magazine for the rifle.
The suspects are described as Hispanic men, but no additional description was available.
