HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke police arrested a suspect in a convenience store robbery while he was in court on another matter.

Police Chief James Nieswanger announced the arrest of Luis Torres, 34, of Feeding Hills at Holyoke District Court on Friday morning.

Holyoke Lt. Matthew Moriarty told 22News that Torres was wanted in connection with the February 10 robbery of the Dairy Mart at 1552 Dwight Street. In that robbery, a handgun was allegedly shown.

Moriarty says that Torres was in court on a different matter when he was arrested around 9:00 A.M. He was arrested without incident.
