HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - An employee of a Holyoke antiques store was hit in the head with a gun during a robbery of the shop on Friday afternoon.
Police Lt. Matthew Moriarty told 22News that around 2:30 P.M., two masked men entered Highland Antiques on Cray Avenue. The suspects were armed with a revolver, and an employee was hit with the weapon on the side of the head.
After robbing the store, the two suspects ran across Northampton Street and onto Shawmut Avenue, where they entered a small-to-medium-sized gold or tan sedan.
The store employee is expected to be okay.
