RANDOLPH, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say a drug-sniffing dog led police to a six-kilogram stash of cocaine hidden in the basement of a Randolph home.
A spokesman for the Norfolk District Attorney says police searched the home on Monday following a two-week investigation.
The dog found the high-purity cocaine and cash in a secret compartment in the basement of the McAuliffe Road home. The drugs have an estimated street value of $250,000.
Police charged the homeowner, identified as 51-year-old Jorge Juan, with cocaine trafficking. he is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Quincy District Court.
Juan's brother, Joel Juan, and Harashii Juan Collazo, are also charged in connection with the case, after they were pulled over in Milton last week.
