SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Making sure you get all the money you deserve on your tax return.

Springfield Partners for Community Action hosted an Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Day Friday.

The IRS estimates that four out of five eligible workers don't claim that credit.

The credit is available to people who don't make a lot of money.

"It's about raising awareness so people realize one of the better tax credits that there are and so they can put that money to good use," said Paul Bailey, Springfield Partners for Community Action.

The IRS will start accepting returns next week.
