CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Davitt Bridge in Chicopee is being rebuilt, and the project is expected to take two years. Drivers frustrated by the detours have asked the 22News I-Team why it's expected to take so long.

We did some digging, and found out that it took the same amount of time for workers to build the 1,050 foot Eiffel Tower. The 22News I-Team will show you the Davitt Bridge project's timeline, and will ask both the state Department of Transportation and the project's construction manager why the bridge won't be open for business until 2014.

Don't miss this 22News I-Team investigation on Thursday at 6pm
