WYOMISSING, Penn. (WWLP) - Penn National Gaming, MGM and Ameristar are the three casino companies hoping to be awarded a casino license in Springfield.

On 22News Wednesday at 6pm, 22News I-Team reporter Ryan Walsh travels to Penn National's headquarters in Pennsylvania to speak exclusively with a Penn National executive.

22News will ask him tough questions about their interest in Springfield and how they plan to gain the State Gaming Commission's favor.

Ryan Walsh has already interviewed the C.E.O. of Ameristar Casinos and the President of MGM Springfield.

Penn National is partnered with Peter Picknelly of Peter Pan Bus Lines and hopes to build in the North End of Springfield.  Ameristar already owns land in East Springfield off of Page Boulevard and MGM is hoping to build in Springfield's South End.
