Restaurants drop fine dining certificates

22News I-Team Investigation

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - 22News is working for you with a warning you need to hear if you're looking to cash in your Fine Dining Group gift certificate this weekend.

People who have Fine Dining Group gift certificates can no longer redeem the gift certificates at four restaurants in our area.

The owner of the Fine Dining Group told 22News that Nadim's, the Blue Heron, Tavern on the Hill, and Figaro in Enfield aren't accepting the gift certificates anymore.

Gail Page said these restaurants chose to end their contracts with Fine Dining Group after the company raised its fees. But she said there are still several local restaurants participating in the program.

You can check the company's website for a current list of participating restaurants. Click here for a link to that site.

Next week the 22News I-Team will be speaking with the attorneys representing the Fine Dining Group and the Tavern on the Hill, to get to the bottom of the dispute that's causing some confusion for customers.
