CHICAGO (CNN) - It's one thing, I think, for the official militia to have guns, but these assault weapons, that 25% of all police are killed by these weapons, they shot an AK-47 at the White House just a year ago. These weapons not only can kill people in classrooms and theaters they can shoot down on airplanes.

This is a matter of homeland security. This is not just a matter of having a little gun to play with. If you want a gun for your house, you've got it.  If you like to shoot down a robber, or a gun for hunting I might add, I can understand that. But these weapons, the power of these weapons is of such that have been used not to enforce the drug trade. Drugs are from Mexico and they make guns in Barrington. Guns come from the suburbs.
