Joe Superneau passes away at 64

(WWLP) - Family, friends, and co-workers are mourning the loss of Joseph Superneau. Joe passed away after battling a long illness, he was 64 years old.

Superneau had worked in the water, wastewater and public works professions for more than 40 years.

Most recently he was the Executive Director for the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission for the last 10 years.

Funeral arrangements are being taken care of by Forastiere-Smith family funeral homes.

Visiting hours will be Monday, January 9th from 4-8 pm at the East Longmeadow location at 220 North Main Street.

Tuesday, January 10th, the funeral service will begin from the funeral home at 8:15 am. A Mass will be held at St. Paul's Church at 235 Dwight Road in Springfield at 9:30 am. With burial at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery in Agawam.
