The town of Monson does itself proud this weekend with an event that has people coming to the eastern Hampden County town from all over western Massachusetts.

This weekend marks the 31st annual Monson holiday craft fair. The fair traditionally falls on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

People from all over eastern Hampden County fill Memorial Hall, the House of Art and the United Methodist and Universalist churches, that now house the expanded exhibits.

One Monson resident told 22News, it's become a tradition to come to the fair. "You just see friends and family and all the talent that people have it's amazing," said Shelly LaChance.

The event continues through Sunday at the Monson Memorial Hall and the nearby Methodist and Universalist churches.
