PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Police say two men carrying knives were arrested in Pittsfield shortly after what they called a "chaotic" situation following the city's Fourth of July parade.

Police responding to a call about a fight around noon outside a store encountered about 50 people crowded around Jose Camacho of Puerto Rico and Marvin Ramos of Pittsfield, who were reportedly chasing after one another and yelling.

Police tell The Berkshire Eagle they witnessed Camacho carrying a large knife. Witnesses said Ramos also had a knife, but no weapon has been recovered.

Both men face disorderly conduct and assault with a dangerous weapon charges.

A third man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct while the crowd was being dispersed.

All three men are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
