PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Police continue to search Pittsfield State Forest for three men who have been missing for more than a week. Though the three were last seen the day that Tropical Storm Irene came through Western Massachusetts, authorities are looking into the possibility that foul play may be involved.
David R. Glasser, 44, Edward S. Frampton, 58, and Robert T. Chadwell, 47, have been missing since Sunday, August 28.
According to a news release sent to 22News from the office of Berkshire County DA David Capeless, the three were last seen at an apartment located at 254 Linden Street.
“At this point, with the three men missing now for over a week, we are very concerned for their safety and we do consider the possibility that foul play is involved,” Capeless said.
The search of the state forest for the three missing men began on Sunday. Capeless urges anyone who may have any information on the whereabouts of Glasser, Frampton, or Chadwell to call Pittsfield Police at (413) 448-9700.
