PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A mother in Pittsfield who pleaded guilty to two counts of recklessly endangering a child, will be sentenced.

Mackenzie Tarjick failed to take action to protect a young girl from being abused by her ex-husband.

She admitted she did not tell police that her husband at the time had repeatedly sexually abused a young girl.starting when she was nine years old.

Her ex-husband is serving 19 to 25 years in prison.

Tarjick could spend the next five years in jail.
