PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Prosecutors have turned over so much evidence to defense lawyers in a triple slaying case in the Berkshires that a judge has changed a pretrial hearing originally scheduled for late March.
The Berkshire District Attorney's office on Monday turned over 141 computer discs to the lawyers representing three men accused of killing three other men last August.
Adam Lee Hall, David Chalue and Caius Veiovis, are accused of killing David Glasser, Edward Frampton and Robert Chadwell. Prosecutors say Glasser was killed so he could not testify against Hall, a member of the Hells Angels, in a court case. The other victims were killed to eliminate witnesses.
The suspects have pleaded not guilty.
The Berkshire Eagle reports the judge set a March 7 date to discuss progress in the discovery process.
