High Wind Warning for Berkshire County

(WWLP) - A High Wind Warning is in effect for northern Berkshire County tonight through Friday afternoon. Winds will become gusty tonight. Sustained winds will be around 25 to 35 MPH with gust around 60 MPH possible.

A Wind Advisory in in effect for southern Berkshire County. Winds will become gusty tonight. Sustained winds will be around 20 to 30 MPH with gust around 50 MPH possible.

Clouds will thicken up this evening then snow and sleet will develop after midnight and gradually mix with then change to rain.

The rain will be heavy at times Friday morning but will taper off during the afternoon. It will be a very mild start to winter with highs in the mid 40's. Winter officially begins Friday at 6:12 a.m.
