Pittsfield Police looking for witnesses to crash that badly injured pedestrian

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Police in Pittsfield are asking for the public's help with their investigation of a downtown accident that seriously injured a pedestrian.

Officer Jeffrey Coco told 22News that 67-year-old Adella Demary was hit by a Jeep at around 6:30 Wednesday night. She was taken to Berkshire Medical Center with serious injuries.

17-year-old Matthew Ott was driving at the time of the accident, which happened at the corner of First and Federal streets.

Anyone who saw the crash is asked to contact Officer Coco at the Pittsfield Police Department Traffic Bureau at (413) 448-9714.
