PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - In Pittsfield the snow is coming down at a pretty good clip.

If it continues like this as its expected to, we could have close to a foot by morning.

The town is quiet as most shops and restaurants have closed early.

Walk around here and you'll only see snow plows and maybe a few people looking for a place to get warm and ride out the storm.

We talked to a couple people tonight who found a way to deal with Mother Nature’s Friday night storm.

Marc Wrzesinski told 22News, “I despise it with ever fiber of my being. I'm actually heading to the bar though. Walking, since there's a ban about driving.”

Sabrina Tan of Lee told 22News, “The best place to be stuck is here because we have all the food and all the booze. Couldn't be better.”

If you haven't done so already, you may want to move your car off the street so you don't end up towed or with a ticket.
