BOSTON (WWLP) - Ronald Brown, 50, of Williamstown was charged in federal court Friday with sexually exploiting a 16-year old boy.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Brown met the boy on the internet and arranged for him to run away from his New Jersey home so they could live together as romantic partners.
According to the complaint, Brown is a level 2 registered sex offender, based upon a 1995 Connecticut conviction for sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy.
If convicted, Brown faces up to 50 years in prison.
