Search continues for missing hiker

BASH BISH FALLS, Mass. (WWLP) - The search for a missing hiker on the Massachusetts-New York border continues Tuesday afternoon.

According to Massachusetts State Police news release, three dozen personnel are searching along side New York authorities.

The hiker has been identified as 28-year-old Kyle Pember of Northborough, Massachusetts. He was reported missing Monday evening in the Bash Bish Falls / Taconic State Park area .

Bash Bish Falls is located in the town of Copake, New York , along the state line, bordering Mount Washington, Massachusetts.

Pember did not return from a hike on the mountain and was last seen by a family member on a trail in the Bash Bish Falls. 

Kyle Pember is described as 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, with short wavy dark brown hair, a narrow face, and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a plaid hoodie, jeans and a backpack.
