It's become an annual tradition. The Chicopee Rotary Club used the 22NEWS garage as the staging area to deliver Thanksgiving turkeys to needy families.

More than 100 Rotarians quickly filled boxes with the food they'd personally deliver today to more than 150 families in Chicopee.

The Rotary club has been doing this since 1988.

Patrick Nostalgia, a participant, told 22News how it makes him feel, “It does make me feel good. I'm glad to be part of it, to help, I really am.”

The Chicopee Rotary distributes food to hungry families three times every year.
