Do kids watch too much TV at daycare?

If you have your child in an at home daycare, you might want to be aware of this.

A new study shows preschoolers in at home daycare spend 2 1/2 hours per day watching television.

That's more than children in center based programs who watch about half hour per day.

22News spoke with a parent who thinks kids already spend enough time in front of the TV.

“They watch enough TV at home, so why do they need to watch it at the daycare, they go there to learn.”

Most pediatricians do not recommend any more than two hours of television per day for preschoolers.
