GREENFUIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Franklin Superior Court has arraigned Richard May on a charge of armed robbery in connection with the most recent bank robberies in Greenfield.
May was arrested early Thursday morning after an extensive manhunt for the 38 year old man.
According to Assistant District Attorney Carrie Russell, marked bills from the robbery, a ski mask, and matching clothing from the robbery were recovered from May’s girlfriend’s house.
May is accused of robbing three separate banks in less than a month on February 17th , March 3rd , and March 13th.
Bail for May was set at $500,000 and is scheduled to return to court on April 19th.
