BRIMFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A 19 year old Springfield man was found injured -- lying on the right hand side of the westbound lanes on Route 20 in Brimfield. (Which is also called Strurbridge Road.)
Chief Charles Kuss told 22News that just before 1:00A.M. Thursday, a passing tow truck driver found the man lying next to his bicycle in the area of the unoccupied Woodlawn Inn.
He was barely able to talk, but had no obvious signs of injury.
He was taken by ambulance to UMass Medical Center in Worcester because the medical helicopter was clouded in fog an unable to take off.
His name is not being released.
Chief Kuss told 22News he does not think the man will die from his injuries.
