GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - On Sunday night Greenfield celebrated their eighth annual free harvest supper of local food.
The community event was open to the public and encourages everyone to eat locally grown food and support local agriculture.
Hundreds of people enjoyed free live music and a free dinner made with food donated by local farmers and cooked by local chefs.
“This is a community that wants to be healthy as a community and are supporting each other for a common good,” said Charlie Sietz of Greenfield.
All proceeds from the event will go to Farmer's Market coupons distributed by the Center for Self-Reliance Food Pantry.
