Montague man arraigned in shooting

ORANGE, Mass. (WWLP) - In Franklin County, Corey Sutton of Montague was arraigned on charges including attempted murder.  The Orange District Court Clerk's office told 22News Sutton pleaded not guilty on Monday.  Sutton is accused of shooting a man three times on Sunday morning on Sunset Drive in Orange.  

Orange Police Chief Robert Haigh told 22News the victim is in stable condition after surgery, but did not tell us his name.  

Sutton is being held on $200,000 cash bail and was also charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.  His next court day is December 28th for a probable cause hearing.
