5-car crash on I-91 South cleared, traffic moving again

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Traffic is starting to move again after a five-car crash on I-91 southbound in Springfield, which had closed all lanes of the highway Friday afternoon.

Sgt. Combs of State Police in Springfield told 22News that there are no major injuries in the crash, which blocked traffic between Exits 8 and 7 for about half an hour.

By 4:10 P.M., the crash was cleared and traffic was moving again at normal speeds through that section of Springfield.
