SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A woman was killed Saturday morning when she was thrown from a car on Boston Road in Springfield.
Now police are looking for the other passengers also in the car who left before the cruisers got there.
Captain Cheryl Claprood told 22News that the car went off Boston Road around 2:00 Saturday morning. The impact from the accident threw the woman out of the vehicle, and the car reportedly landed on top of her.
Police have shut down a section of Boston Road and Slater Avenue into the Walmart entrance.
Claprood says people who live in the area can expect power outages as crews will be sent out to repair a pole.
