WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - 84 marijuana plants have been removed from a Wilbraham home, and its owner has been arrested following a Wednesday morning raid.
According to a news release sent to 22News by Wilbraham police, Alan Levinson is facing several drug charges, including cultivating/manufacturing or intent to distribute a class D substance, and violation of a drug-free school zone.
Wilbraham police and DEA agents raided Levinson’s 7 Karen Drive home around 8:45 A.M. According to police, inside the home, they discovered 84 marijuana plants as well as “items used in the manufacturing of marijuana.”
Police had obtained a search warrant for the home after a Wilbraham police investigation.
Levinson was arraigned in Palmer District Court Wednesday on charges of possession of marijuana over one ounce, cultivating/manufacturing or intent to distribute a class D substance, violation of a drug-free school zone, and violation of a park zone (the Soule Road School and Fountain Park are both nearby).
