CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The bidding was brisk at the Chicopee Boys and Girls Club annual auction.
They had a goal of 20-thousand dollars for Thursday night’s fundraiser.
The Chicopee Boys and Girls Club provide a wide variety of services for 200 kids every day.
Jason Reed says, "Tell you what. It's fabulous! It means a lot to us. It means a lot to our kids that they have a place they can go after school that's safe and fun for them to be at and the fact that the community continues to rally behind us in what is our 100th anniversary is HUGE for us!"
Eight local restaurants set up serving stations at what has become the Chicopee Boys and Girls Club 's biggest fundraiser of the year.
