Car engulfed in flames on interstate 91

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - An out of control car fire slowed traffic on interstate 91 during the dinner hour.

The car was totally engulfed in flames.

Springfield Fire Commissioner's Aide Dennis Leger told 22News the car burnt up on I-91 North just before exit 12, the Chicopee curve.

No one was hurt.

The car was destroyed.

No word on what may have caused the fire.
