SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - It's difficult to find a person whose life hasn't been touched by cancer in some way.

Many cancer survivors and their friends and family enjoyed the second annual Celebration of Hope.

The event spreads awareness of the cancer epidemic, and also raises money to prevent the disease and support those who are in the fight.

Jennifer Rossmiller says, “There's just such a sense of commitment. Everyone really can identify with one another. It's a really beautiful event.

22News meteorologist Nick Bannin joined in the fight against cancer by serving as emcee of Saturday night’s dinner and dance event.

The Celebration of Hope is also affiliated with the Pink Mass, which earlier this month honored survivors and anyone impacted by cancer.
