SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The families of West Springfield Cub Scout pack 83 have found the ideal way to help raise money for their children's projects.

They put on a model train show.

The 3rd Annual Westside Model Train Show came complete with all the bells and whistles that stir the hearts of train lovers regardless of your age.

The cub scouts know just where the money raised will be going.

Tonya Barufsle says, “We go camping twice in the summertime and that pays for our camping trip and it also pays for the badges they earn. “

West Springfield High School provided the space for the model train show.

It's been so successful organizers are already for next year's event.
