SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The two week Springfield Festival of Trees ended Sunday afternoon after having attracted more than 3,000 visitors.

All that remains now is the raffling off of the more than one hundred ornately decorated trees to some lucky people.

The last of the 3,000 visitors to the festival at Tower Square downtown admire the trees they'd like having in their homes.

Jorge Esquivel is in from Miami visiting family in Springfield.

He speculated if he had a winning raffle ticket. “Well at least I can donate to some people that don't really have, because I can't take it with me in Miami.”

These festival trees will be in the homes of the lucky ticket winners by the middle of the week.

The money raised through the raffle and the festival of trees price of admission benefits the Springfield Boys and Girls Club programs.
