SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The stock market ended the week lower, amid the uncertainty over the fiscal cliff.
Overall, this has been a positive year for Wall Street, but stocks have declined the last six sessions.
Mark Teed of Raymond James & Associates says the fiscal cliff is getting in the way of a blossoming bull market. "All those economic reports that were negative four years ago have turned positive. And it's been quiet. People haven't noticed it, but the market's starting to react positively to it. But this fiscal cliff nonsense is starting to really bite."
Teed is optimistic about the economy in 2013.
He notes that earnings look good, and that housing and hiring are picking up.
