SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Drop by the Springfield Forest Park Zoo and you'll find the Animal Care Complex hasn't look this good since before last year's serious storms.
Habitat for Humanity turned their attention to sprucing up some of the zoo's storm battered buildings.
Dozens of habitat volunteers made this their latest project.
Habitat for Humanity volunteer Laura Browne said, “The zoo really needed some help with it. They had a lot of weather damage to their buildings. They really needed some people to come in and help out painting, and we have the resources to be able to do that, we decided to help them out."
