SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The spirit of the season extended to one local businessman who told 22News he had a pretty good year.

Robert Pluta of Fairview Lawn and Landscape went out and filled up his landscape truck with toys for our toys for tot’s campaign.

He also told 22News it's all about the smiles.

Pluta hopes to start a tradition of giving to toys for tots, with a goal of topping each successive year.
