Motorcyclist expected to be okay after colliding with tractor

HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - Hadley Police say a motorcyclist is expected to be okay after colliding with a farm tractor Tuesday afternoon.

Hadley Police Officer Mitch Kuctold told 22News, the accident closed a stretch of route 47 for about two and a half hours.

The unidentified motorcyclist was heading south on route 47 at about 3:15 Tuesday afternoon when it hit a tractor crossing the road.

Officer Kuc said the biker suffered face and leg injuries and was taken to Baystate Medical Center where he's expected to recover.

No charges have been filed.
