PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) - Police arrested a suspected serial burglar who ran away from them on Christmas Eve.

Palmer Police Sgt Christopher Burns told 22News, that police arrested 27 year old Joshua Larose in Bondsville Tuesday night.

Sgt Burns said Larose is responsible for a series of house and business break-ins in Palmer and surrounding towns over the last four or five months.

Sgt Burns also said Larose took off when they tried to arrest him Monday night.

Police say the stolen items include jewelry, cash, tools and equipment.

Larose faces burglary, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer at his arraignment Wednesday in Palmer District Court.
