Patriots Ron Brace volunteers for "National Rebuilding Day"

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - New England Patriots Defensive Lineman and Springfield Native Ron Brace will join thousands of other volunteers across the country Saturday for "National Rebuilding Day."

Brace will be assisting with repairs at a home in Springfield.

15 homes throughout the city will be worked on during the massive one-day rebuilding effort, many of them damaged during the June first tornado and October snow storm.

Between 500 and one thousand volunteers are expected to participate.
