SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Maybe the luck of the Irish will be with you if you purchase a lottery ticket Sunday.

You could be spending plenty of green if you hit the Powerball jackpot!

There were no big winners Saturday night in the Powerball jackpot, so now Wednesday's jackpot has grown to $260 million dollars!

22News stopped by Murphys Pop Shop on Island Pond Road in Springfield to see if people were excited about the huge prize.

Store owner Patrick Murphy says, "When a jackpot gets this high, it brings a lot of new customers who don't normally play the lottery, so its an exciting time for everybody."
