WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Senator Scott Brown campaigned in Westfield Saturday afternoon.

The Senator strolled through downtown Westfield accompanied by his wife, his daughter and their family pet. Brown told 22News, he takes his commitments to Western Massachusetts very seriously. “There's life after 128, and; life after 495 and there's life after Springfield too. I've been here many, many times; this is a very important part of the state. ”

Senator Brown looked none the worse for wear from Friday night's traffic accident in Dedham.

No one was hurt when Brown's car driven by a senate aide collided with another car on his way to a charity fundraiser.
