WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - All of Wilbraham and parts of Hampden and Palmer lost power Wednesday morning.

National Grid Spokesperson Debbie Drew told 22News that around 10:00 A.M., a squirrel caused the outage at a Wilbraham substation.

Wilbraham Chiropractor Dr. Lynn LeBel told 22News that she was not about to let the nearly hour-long outage stop her from treating her patients. It was the patient who insisted she continue, "It's low tech, high touch treatment that doesn't require a lot of floodlights and high power," LeBel said.

Dr. LeBel told 22News that a flashlight provided all the power she needed during the 45 minute outage.
