SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A Springfield couple picked their wedding date hoping for good luck, but 11-11-11 is getting closer and the power outage is already threatening their plans.
The couple planned on catering part of the event themselves, but with no power some food they bought is already going bad and the hotel they booked has no power
Chanae James told 22News, "You thought that 11-11 was going to be good luck. Yeah right, I did think it was going to be good luck, but at this point I'm not sure what to expect. We bought food and we're not sure if it's going to last through.”
No matter what the couple says they'll get married 11-11-11 even if it’s at home and in the dark.
