$8,000 more annually, White House says

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The White House has released new data that high school graduates earn $8,000 more annually compared with high school drop-outs.

That is good news for these recent high school graduates and incoming freshmen at Springfield's American International College.

Rebecca Hardy of Westfield and Ashley Felsner of Fowlerville, Michigan told 22News that some of what they will earn as physical therapists will go to pay back sixty thousand dollars in student loans.

“You know you want to pay off your student loans as soon as you can, so you're not paying for the rest of your life,” Felsner said.

“It's a big shock, but you just look at that big number. We don't break it down into the smaller numbers,” Hardy said.

The incoming freshman agreed that the college degree is well worth the necessary skimping those first few years after graduation.
