SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police reportedly aren't getting too much cooperation as they try to find the reason a teenage girl was shot in the leg Sunday morning at 49 Dickinson Street in the city's Forest Park neighborhood.

Springfield Police Lt. Robert Moynihan told 22News that the 14-year-old girl was taken to Baystate Medical Center.

Two 16-year-old boys were charged with having guns and ammunition.

Why she was shot and who pulled the trigger is still a mystery and Lt. Moynihan said that people who could supply information are not cooperating.
