SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Police have charged three suspects with the city's 15th murder of 2010. Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney told 22News that Hector Lopez, 21, Lionel Lopez, 18 and Jomar Enrique Maldonado, 22, were arrested Wednesday night and charged with the murder of 17-year-old Jose Colon.
Colon was found shot several times in the head, chest, and back Tuesday night inside Van Horn Park.
According to the Hampden County District Attorney's Office, all three men were arraigned Thursday in Springfield District Court, where they had not guilty pleas entered on their behalf. They are all being held without the right to bail.
