SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - It's getting really close to the time to turn on the heat. But many people are worried their heating bills will take a bigger toll on their household budgets.
Experts are expecting price of oil and electricity to go up.

- Compare utility bills with your neighbors to find the best deal.
- Use pre-programmed thermostats
- Keep the thermostat at 65 to 68 degrees during the day and 50 to 60 at night.
