CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Spirit of giving was at its glory today as Toys for Tots donations continued to fill the 22News lobby with bikes and toys.

Lisa Sawicki and Sean Reynolds of Chicopee did the heavy lifting on Sunday.

They delivered six bikes along with numerous bags full of toys made possible by donations from employees at the Hampden County House of Correction along with members of the American Legion and Buffalo Club in Chicopee.

"Very good feeling to have some little boy and girl wake up and be happy," said Lisa Sawicki.

"It's great to see everybody, all this, these things came together in a time of need and a time of joy for the great holidays, I think it's very heartwarming," said Sean Reynolds of Chicopee.

22News and the U.S. Marines will accept donations like these for the next three days to make this Christmas season a truly memorable one for western Massachusetts children in need.
