AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) - An Agawam bar and restaurant is hoping to fill the shelves at the Parish Cupboard.

The goal of the people at The Still Bar & Grill on Suffield Street is to fill a truck by Monday evening and deliver it to the West Springfield food pantry.

Employees at the The Still planned the event to help out in a time of need, right before Thanksgiving, but they also hoped to honor a former employee.

"This is all in name of our friend Gordon who passed away a year ago,” said Tom Glennan, kitchen manager at The Still. “He was a very generous soul and we wanted to do something in his name that would really honor his memory a year after his death."

There's still time to contribute, the bar will be collecting donations until 6:00 P.M.
